The 2005 vintage, characterised by warm, consistent weather, produced grapes of the very highest quality. This is evident in this Autecour, with its deep, golden colour and intense nose of wild honey, toast and butter biscuits. On the palate, it is deep, concentrated and creamy. This is the magic of aged Chasselas wines, which gain in intensity with age! A mineral note, as refreshing as a mountain stream, enhances the finish. Simply pair it with caramelised Gruyère, a cheese with a character just as strong as this great white wine!

Wine-growing terroir

Located in the heart of the hillside vineyard, Domaine de Autecour overlooks Mont-sur-Rolle over 13 hectares and flourishes along the banks of Lake Geneva. The vines are cultivated according to the rules of integrated production, respectful of the environment. The high planting density forces the roots to dig deep into the terroir (moraine and eroded molasses), which gives the wine its remarkable complexity and typicity.

Located in the heart of the wine-growing village of Mont-sur-Rolle, Domaine de Autecour, which celebrated its 350th anniversary in 2013, covers 6 hectares of vineyards planted with Chasselas, Plant Robert, Merlot, Galotta, and Gamay grapes. The building, classified as a historic monument, bears witness to the rich history of the region. The vines, which benefit from an exceptional terroir, produce elegant wines aged in oak barrels and casks in the estate's cellars.
