98 100Yves BeckSuperb bouquet marked by its intensity and density. So much breed, authenticity and fruit. The wine is bright with freshness, notes of blackberries, blackcurrant and graphite. On the palate the wine is distinguished by its depth and aromatic intensity. The tannins are powerful and reveal themselves slowly while the acidity ensures liveliness. An elegant, powerful, persistent wine. 2027-2060.

98 100Markus Del MonegoIntense purple color with violet hue and black core. Very noble nose with ripe dark berries, blackberries, blackcurrants and elderberries. Hints of ripe sloe in the background. Very elegant oriental spices, discreet hints of cocoa and dark chocolate in the background. On the palate a taste of great purity and precision with silky tannins, fine acidity, excellent fruit and discreet spiciness. A great wine with freshness, well balanced with excellent length, the quintessence of refinement. Wow!

96 100DecanterSofter and silkier than many Pauillacs in the vintage, this is a clear success. Hugely silky and seductive, with grip, power and finesse. One of the best of the appellation, with finessed tobacco, heather and plump blueberry and cassis fruit, expertly managing the low 30hl/ha yield. 60% new oak. Tasted twice. Drinking Window 2030 - 2048. - Jane Anson.
Purplish purple.
Intense, complex bouquet, well marked by its terroir, with aromas of blueberries and raspberries, supported by notes of cedar and graphite.
Entry into the mouth delicious and dense, ample and elegant, solid tannins, with fine grains, beautiful freshness supporting the fruit.
Mushroom ravioli with truffles, roast goose or squab, suckling lamb with Espelette pepper, leg of venison with chestnuts, brie stuffed with walnuts, chocolate cake served with thyme ice cream.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Château Pichon Longueville de Lalande is located between the Gironde and the Atlantic Ocean. The exceptional richness of the Pauillac appellation is the result of poor and sparse soil, made up of gravel on clay favoring excellent drainage. It is these Garonnaise gravels which offer such quality to the Médoc vineyards.
Thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel vats, vatting for 18 to 24 days, aging in oak barrels, 80% of which is new wood.
