Assemblage : 92 % cabernet sauvignon, 6 % merlot, 2 % cabernet franc. Degré d'alcool : 14°6 (moyenne plus, plus) - pH : 3,62 (moyenne). IPT : 88 (moyenne plus, plus) versus 70 en 2015 et 2016. Rendement : 25 hl/ha. A consommer de préférence entre 2036 et 2065. Avril 2023.

100 100Wine EnthusiastDark blueberry aromas and powerfully rich tannins give a dense, concentrated wine, perhaps the most concentrated ever. The wine's impressive structure means it will age for many years. Drink from 2028. Roger Voss. January 2025.

98 100DecanterA stunning Margaux in 2022 with a bright and vibrant core, deep and persistent, alive and bright with layers of silky but firm tannins that give a gentle grip, powerful and concentrated black fruit, with a clearly defined structure that supports and doesn't overwhelm. Despite the power this has a delicacy which I love, so pure and clearly charming. Opulent yet racy, really walking the line between heft and sleekness. The acidity really lifts the expression with spiced liquorice and wet stone nuances while staying cool and fresh. Generous, stylish, punchy and polished. An incredibly complex wine that really works. 3.6pH. 88IPT. 18% press wine. Ageing 18-20 months, 100% new oak. No Petit Verdot in the blend. Highest alcohol and tannin level for the grand vin. Drinking window: 2030 - 2050. Georgina Hindle. April 2023.

97 100Robert Parker's Wine AdvocateThe 2022 Château Margaux has come together brilliantly with élevage. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, cedary pencil shavings and pen ink that are deftly framed by new oak, it's full-bodied, dense and layered, with a concentrated core of intensely sweet fruit, broad structural shoulders and a long, resonant finish. With air, it only becomes more voluptuous, yet that's controlled by underlying tannic grip to deliver a more classical profile than was apparent during élevage. Drinking window: 2030 - 2065. 97+/100. William Kelley. March 2025.

Gorgeous purplish crimson.
Fine, fruity, very aromatic. Aromas of blackberry, cherry and peppermint.
Velvety, tasty and noble. The wine has body, but the tannins are incredibly fine. Very nice length.
Surprising with cod or Chinese cuisine, red meats, roast poultry, goat cheese.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18 ° C
The vines, inclined on a gentle slope in a sort of amphitheater, are established on a gravelly and clayey ridge of fluvial origin (abundant gravel at the top, the bottom of the ridge being composed of limestone and finer elements due to runoff) .
Vatting for 3 weeks in oak vases, aging for 18 to 24 months in new oak barrels.
