A beautiful pale yellow.

Nose

Beautiful complexity with aromas of citrus and freshness, notes of mandarin and lime followed by nuances of peppermint.

Palate

This vintage is distinguished by its finesse and elegance, is perfectly balanced, and has a beautiful touch of salinity, fruity and supported by a refreshing acidity, which favors the aromatic expression until the finish.

Wine-growing terroir

The Château Latour-Martillac vineyard comprises 54 ha, including 45 ha dedicated to red wines and 9 ha to white wines. The Martillac plateau, an exceptional terroir of the appellation, is made up of flint, quarter lydienne and jasper. The other terroir of the property is located near the Garonne. Here, on clay-limestone soils with a gravelly surface, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon are grown.

Winemaking

Manual harvests from plots, alcoholic fermentation in barrels, aging on lees in oak barrels (including 25% new wood. The 2021 is the second vintage vinified in the property's new cellar.

Alexandre Ma This wine artfully softens its body through the salty mineral notes in a vintage with high-acidity, a magical experience similar to taming a tequila shot with lemon and salt. Delicate flavors of fennel, parsley seed, and daisy fill my palates with vigor and fresh elegance. Profound mineral notes hidden among that of orange peels really catch me, leading me into a mistrial world. Strongly recommended!

Decanter A crystalline appearance to the nose, real clarity and freshness. The palate is striking, zesty and alive, sharp yet also with density that gives a push-pull from the acidity and succulence. This is characterful, certainly full of life and flavor with a touch of sherbet sourness and honeyed sweetness.
