Château Lafon-Rochet
Red wine | 4th Cru Classé, Saint-Estèphe AC
A château that shows its colours!
The main building of Château Lafon-Rochet is golden yellow in colour, like its labels. This warm, bold hue sets the tone, and the château's fine wine continues this theme with a delicious, original style and an inviting, fruity nose of blackcurrant and cherry, enhanced by hints of spice. On the palate, it stands out with its caressing, very pure texture.

Ideally located between Cos d'Estournel and Lafite Rothschild, the Château Lafon-Rochet vineyard extends over 40 hectares in one piece. The diversity of the composition of the terroir (quartz, sandstone, flint, sand and clay) and the excellent natural drainage make Lafon-Rochet an exceptional terroir!
Cold pre-fermentation for 24 to 72 hours, alcoholic fermentation for around fifteen days, malolactic fermentation for around 3 months, aging for 16 to 18 months in oak barrels, 50% of which is new wood.
