Château La Tour Carnet
Red wine | 4th Cru Classé, Haut-Médoc AC
La Tour Carnet is a 12th century castle and a vineyard established in 1407! Its wines were recognized in 1855 when it became 4th Grand Cru Classé in the Bordeaux wine classification. It is a great red wine, complex, for aging, but it is already very fine in this vintage, with beautiful notes of blackberries and blackcurrant, a dense structure, which continues with finesse on the fruit.

The Château La Tour Carnet wine estate has a terroir which is characterized by a land composed of a base of heavily limestone clay covered with a thick layer of gravel contributing as much to the originality of the landscape as to the organoleptic specificity of its production.
Vinification in small vats by bleeding, maceration for 25 to 30 days, fermentation for 8 to 9 days, aging for 18 months (punctuated by frequent racking) in oak barrels, 50% of which is new wood.
