92 100Wine SpectatorShows botrytis spice and lemon peel aromas, with apple pie. Not a big, rich wine, but balanced and interesting. Turns intense and powerful on the finish, with excellent density. Best after 2012.

92 100Robert Parker's Wine AdvocateTasted at the Sauternes 2006 ten-year on horizontal in Bordeaux. The 2006 La Tour Blanche has a burly, powerful bouquet, quite complex with dried honey, butterscotch, beeswax and spice. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry with vibrant orange zest and mandarin notes. It is endowed with impressive depth and a powerful, botrytis-driven finish that lingers long in the mouth. This is an impressive, delicious Sauternes from La Tour Blanche that should drink well for two or three decades.
