Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2007

Red wine | Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan AC

The Mission takes its name from the “priests of the Mission” who cultivated the Château’s vines at the time. According to Robert Parker, "The Mission has long been one of the best wines and one of the most consistent qualitatively speaking." Certainly the most mysterious wine of the Haut-Brion lineage!

Intense purple red, with violet reflections.

Nose
Nose

Intense aromas of red and black fruits, such as raspberry and blackberry, followed by scents of Havana, roasting culminating in a very pretty woodiness.

Palate
Palate

The mouth begins with a great sensation of sweetness, then the wine broadens and invades us. From that moment on, the very mature tannins take over, giving the full measure of the great concentration of this wine.

Château La Mission Haut-Brion

Located southwest of Bordeaux, Château La Mission Haut-Brion has been dedicated to viticulture since 1540. The Dillon family acquired the property in 1983, comprising 29 hectares of vines and forming part of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The estate faces Château Haut-Brion and shares with it this vast gravel terrace, called Haut-Brion.
