Château Gazin 2011
Red wine | Pomerol AC
Château Gazin wines are feminine and charming, as Merlot is the dominant grape variety. They are enjoyable to drink after a few years of ageing, but improve with 15, 20 or more years of ageing. Their magnificent generosity reveals a wide range of aromas.

92 100Yves BeckQuelle jeunesse, quelle fougue. 2017-2037. Novembre 2013.

93 100Robert Parker's Wine AdvocateA powerful, virile 2011, Gazin reveals a dense ruby/purple color, a big, meaty, earthy richness, lots of coffee, black cherry liqueur and spice notes, and a full-bodied mouthfeel. It will benefit from another 3-4 years of cellaring and should keep for 15+ years. Drinking window: 2017 - 2032. 93+. Robert M. Parker Jr. April 2014.

Avril 2012.

89 100Wine EnthusiastThis firmly tannic wine has a dry character that lays over lighter fruits. With soft spice and some sweetness, this wine is developing already. 88-90/100. Barrel sample. Roger Voss. January 2012.
