96 100James SucklingThe tension here comes from chalky tannins and lovely tobacco, herbs, cedar and cigar-box character. Currants and blue fruits. It's medium-bodied with lovely fruit and light-citrus bitterness. Firm and intense with an excellent finish. One of the best Duharts I have tasted. Try after 2028. January 2025.

Assemblage : 78 % cabernet sauvignon, 22 % merlot. Degré d'alcool : 13°5 - pH : 3,9. Avril 2023

95 100DecanterA deep, dark nose of blackcurrants and black cherries, accented by tobacco, cola, and violets. Pure and precise, this makes an immediate impact with its exceptional texture - heavier than Moulin, with more structured, pillowy tannins that cushion the palate. The wide mouthfeel is beautifully balanced by a vibrant acidity that carries the wine seamlessly from start to finish. Dark fruit, integrated spice, and a long, fresh finish create a complete and sophisticated expression. Characterful, seamless, and impeccably balanced, this is an irresistible wine that leaves you wanting more. Elegant yet powerful, with depth and precision. Simply excellent. Drinking window: 2029 - 2046. Georgina Hindle. January 2025.

94 100Robert Parker's Wine AdvocateThe 2022 Duhart-Milon is showing beautifully, bursting from the glass with aromas of mulberries, blackcurrants, pencil shavings and rose petal. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and textural, it's sweet and layered, with a gourmand core of fruit underpinned by powdery tannins and lively acids. A decade ago, Duhart could be a somewhat austere wine, but today it's much more integrated and harmonious. The 2022 is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Merlot. Drinking window: 2027 - 2050. William Kelley. March 2025.

Dark and intense purple with luminous highlights.
Aromas of blackberry and licorice.
Delicious and juicy entry in the mouth, rather tight, precise tannins which reveal themselves gently, well balanced. A straight vintage with good aging potential.
