Château du Tertre
Red wine | 5th Cru Classé, Margaux AC
Cabernet Sauvignon, which makes up the majority of the vineyard, brings structure and concentration. Renowned for its roundness and suppleness, Merlot adds silkiness to the final blend. Cabernet Franc stands out with its rich bouquet of spicy notes. Finally, the late-ripening Petit Verdot completes the aromatic palette. Thus is born the Grand Vin de Château du Tertre, reflecting the very soul of its exceptional terroir...

A beautiful, very dark purple red.
Aromas of mentholated black berries, pipe tobacco, orange zest and pencil shavings.
Medium-bodied, supple and smooth, this vintage is built around velvety tannins and a fairly lively acidity. It gains presence on the finish, offering charm as a plus.
The Château du Tertre vineyards are located on one of the highest perfectly drained gravel ridges in the Médoc area.
Manual harvest, selective sorting, vinification in thermo-regulated concrete, wood and stainless steel vats. Aging for 15 to 17 months in French oak barrels (45% new, 55% wine), regular racking.
