Château d’Hauteville
White wine | Vevey Grand Cru, Lavaux AOC
A noble wine… at a low price!
This intensely fruity Chasselas will seduce you with elegance! The fresh and crisp style of this white wine stretches with ease into a very harmonious finish. The Château d'Hauteville, dating from the Middle Ages, stands majestically above Vevey. It is surrounded by its historic vineyards, ideally exposed to the south. Although the grapes are no longer vinified in the château's old cellars, the wine has retained its former panache!

The Château d'Hauteville, a lordship since the 18th century, has remained a patrician residence until today, owned by the Grand d'Hauteville family. A masterpiece of architecture, it marvelously illustrates the refinement of the period. It is surrounded by vineyards and fields over an area of thirty hectares. Facing south, the Hauteville vines are established on marl and clay soils, facing due south, between 440 and 470 m above sea level.
Traditional winemaking, aging in vats.
