The existence of Château d'Armailhac dates back to the end of the 17th century. The young Baron Philippe de Rothschild became the owner of the estate in 1934. It was Baroness Philippine de Rothschild who gave it back its original identity, Château d'Armailhac in 1989. This château produces rich, colorful wines with a sunny character.

Intense purple with almost black purplish highlights.
Aromas of black cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, followed by notes of mint, blond tobacco and cedar.
Fruity and juicy on the palate, beautifully balanced, racy and well supported by grainy tannins, culminating in a long, fruity finish.
Wellington fillet, lamb rack, flambéed guinea fowl, porcini mushrooms or truffles, Cantal, Saint-Nectaire.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C
Château d'Armailhac is located in the northern part of Pauillac and has 70 ha of vines. Its terroir of light and deep gravel has a partly clay-limestone subsoil.
Vinification for 15 to 20 days in stainless steel vats, aging for 15 to 16 months in oak barrels, 25% of which is new wood.
