A beautiful dark red with almost black reflections.
Richly scented, with aromas of morello cherry, black wild berries, followed by notes of eucalyptus and mint.
A delicious, rich, lively and expressive wine, with compact tannins and a structure that supports the aromatic expression. The finish is very fresh and fruity, with a touch of wood which rounds the whole thing out well. An extremely well crafted, very charming wine!
Cold meats, meat, game or vegetable terrines, Bolognese pasta, grilled chicken, oven-roasted meats, grills, bistecca alla fiorentina, T-bone steak, lamb couscous, game.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
The 11 ha vineyard is located to the west of Pomerol, the vines are planted on a terroir of gravel on deep clay, on a subsoil with the presence of iron dross.
In the cellar, wood is dominant with truncated conical vats for plot vinification, and barrels for aging.
