Beautiful pale yellow color.
Very flattering first nose, on Sauvignon blanc with an aromatic palette expressing notes of exotic fruits (passion fruit, pineapple), on the other hand we find aromas reminiscent of orange zest and peach.
Rich, with roundness, present acidity. The finish is saline as is often found in Carbonnieux. Breeding is discreet.
Maki, sushi, sashimi, marinated fish tartare, shellfish, oysters, mussels, fennel sea bass, grilled fish, mature cheeses.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12°C
The Carbonnieux vineyard has been established since the 13th century on a beautiful ridge of gravel, clay-limestone and naturally drained. Within the Pessac-Léognan appellation, this prestigious terroir is remarkable for its morphology and the diversity of its soils.
Manual harvest, slow pressing, fermentation in barrels, aging for 10 months in oak barrels including 25% new wood.
