Wine-growing terroir

The Château Faugères vineyard is located on the sunny slopes of the Dordogne valley, 6 kilometers east of Saint-Émilion, in one of the most beautiful wine-growing sites in Bordeaux. The 80 hectares of vines draw their sap from clay-limestone soil.

Winemaking

Cold pre-fermentation maceration in conical stainless steel vats, gentle vatting for three weeks, aging for 12 months in oak barrels.

Le bouquet de Cap de Faugères est marqué par des notes de cassis et par des nuances crayeuses. En bouche le vin a du jus, du gras et des tannins vifs et serrés. La structure assure la vivacité et soutient l’expression aromatique jusqu’en finale. 2023-2033 90-92/100
