Dense garnet red with purple reflections. Subtle, complex bouquet, marked by freshness and mineral notes. On the palate the wine is creamy and distinguished. There is breadth and depth. The tannins are perfectly integrated, slightly smooth and in phase with the structure. Beautiful reflection of olfactory characteristics on the palate. A wine of character, well structured and persistent on the finish. 2025-2044.

Blackberry, chocolate and hazelnut aromas and flavors. It's medium-to-full-bodied with polished, juicy tannins that give a dusty texture to the intense, rich finish. A traditional, classically structured and styled red.

I love the balance on display here, of powerful and softly whispering fruits, a tightrope of acidity and tannins giving structure. Great stuff, with the impact of 2018 but more freshness, although still with the signature glamor of a Neipperg wine in full flight. Drinking Window 2025 - 2044.
