Bouquet of a lively aromatic of crunchy fruits.
Dynamic, fresh and mineral, mixing black fruits, spices and fine tannins with an acidity that stretches the wine.
Cold cuts and dried meat, country terrine, pasta, vegetable gratin, baked chicken, Wellington fillet, rabbit with mustard, royal cous-cous, pheasant, venison stew.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Close to the highest point of the appellation, the 25 ha of the vineyard extend over the limestone plateau and on the hillsides, a stone's throw from the medieval city.
Plot vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel vats and 500 l barrels. Aging in barrels of different sizes and amphorae for 12 to 15 months. Lightly toasted barrels are selected in order to preserve the fruit and not add excess oaking.

Château Boutisse is the “Haute couture” vineyard of the Xavier Milhade family. It was purchased in 1996 by Xavier Milhade then managed by his son, Marc Milhade from 2005. Extensive work has been undertaken over time to reach a quality level worthy of the greatest Saint-Emilion. A place of experimentation, discovery, innovation and meticulous work where every detail is important.
