93 100Whine EnthusiastThis is a structured wine that also has great layers of rich black fruits. They give the wine weight and intensity that is lifted by acidity. It is a powerful complex wine, concentrated and ripe. Drink from 2025. Roger Voss

92 100James SucklingA rich and powerful wine with pronounced chocolate and plum notes. Some wet earth. Full and delicious. Flavorful and soft.

91 100DecanterPlum and blackberry fruit nose and soft spice. 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Malbec. The Malbec gives a slightly exotic feel. Notable lift and good ageing potential. Lean now but will flesh out over the oak ageing next year, as the firm tannins are astringent not bitter. Coffee and clove finish. 2022 - 2035. Jane Anson

90 100Robert Parker's Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Bouscaut has a pure, feminine, floral bouquet that is charming, the oak neatly integrated with satisfying fruit intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe red berry fruit, the oak quite present but in sync with the fruit profile whilst the finish has splendid harmony and persistence. Probably earlier drinking that some of its peers, nevertheless this is a delicious Pessac-Leognan that might surprise and evolve well in bottle. This comes recommended. 2019 - 2032. Neal Martin
