Château Beychevelle 2019

Red wine | 4th Cru Classé, Saint-Julien AC

From the land, the climate and the vine, the inimitable fruit is born, which the winegrower watches over, like a child who may be fragile, but certainly a prodigy.

Dark, intense and beautiful color. Fine, fruity, pure, ripe and subtle nose. Finely fleshy from the attack, the wine is fragrant, pleasant, tasty, with presence. It ends with a finale without an angle, which is particularly pleasant.

Purplish purple. Beautiful olfactory intensity with lots of fruit that evokes notes of blueberries and plums. I also note spices, a little lavender, licorice and a slight candied touch. In summary it's complex, but I didn't come to Bordeaux to summarize my feelings in a single word

Very fine tannins already with a solid core of blackberry and blueberry character. Hints of flowers. Full-bodied, well-integrated and tight, not to mention fresh and long.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Beychevelle opens with gregarious cassis and blackberry pie notes with touches of baking spices and underbrush plus a waft of lavender. Medium-bodied with a great core of ripe black fruits, it has a firm frame of ripe, grainy tannins and balancing freshness, finishing long. The final blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 4 Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
