Champagne Moutardier Brut Carte d'Or
Sparkling wine | Champagne
Bubbles from a small producer!
This Champagne is deliciously fragrant, with aromas of ginger, pippin and lemon zest, coated with hints of peach, yellow grapefruit and dried apricot. The palate is supple with an iodized freshness that prolongs a gourmand, finely saline finish. The Carte d'Or is a cuvée made from Pinot Meunier, a grape variety with character, at the center of the creations of this small, quality family house!

Dense and satiny, rich and nuanced, with fine lively bubbles and a delicate collar.
Aromas of ginger, pippin and lemon zest, coated with notes of peach and yellow grapefruit and dried apricot.
Supple and fresh, with a creamy and melted effervescence. It offers a pulpy and fleshy structure, reminiscent of citrus fruits, yellow and white fruits, followed by a clay minerality offering roundness and juiciness. The iodized freshness extends the sensations towards a delicious, fruity, melted and saline finish.
The 18 ha of vines in Le Breuil and Baulne en Brie, in the Surmelin Valley, are planted on clay-limestone soils, slightly chalkier than elsewhere in Champagne.
Traditional production using the Champagne method.
