Castillo de Molina Reserva Carmenère
Red wine | Valley of Maule DO
Almost disappeared in Europe... but emblem of Chile!
This pure Carménère Réserve is expressive and intense with aromas of black fruits and spices, subtly blending with notes of vanilla, coffee and chocolate. On the palate it is round, concentrated, with velvety tannins and a finish of beautiful persistence. Half-brother of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Carménère comes from Bordeaux, where it has practically disappeared. Fortunately, it comes back to life and shines brightly in Chile, which has made it its standard bearer!
