Marchesi Mazzei Castello di Fonterutoli - Philip

Red wine | Toscana IGT

A bridge across the Atlantic
This Tuscan red wine offers a beautiful aromatic richness, with blueberry, black cherry, and violet, a touch of spice and dark chocolate, in a complex and refined style with smooth tannins. The grapes come from the historic Castello Fonterutoli estate as well as from the Tuscan coast. The blend extends to the aging process, using both French and American oak, in homage to Philip Mazzei, an illustrious ancestor of the family and close friend of Thomas Jefferson.
