97 100Wine EnthusiastAnother stunning vintage of this classic wine, blended with 9% Petit Verdot, this wine is dark and brooding in black cherry, cassis and currant, with a rich nose of baking spice. Lengthy and generous in tannin, it shows a backbone of ageworthy structure and complexity, with a lasting thread of dark chocolate. Enjoy best from 2029–2039. Virginie Boone. January 2022.

97 100DecanterOne of Napa Valley's most iconic wines, today produced by Trevor Durling, only the fourth winemaker to follow in the footsteps of the great André Tchelistcheff. Recent vintages have been very compact on release, revealing very little of the immense complexity and deliciousness that they are capable of evolving into. This 2019 is no exception. Reticent on the nose with fresh cedar, wild herbs and blackberry fruit. Full, round and robust palate with saturated black and blueberry fruit, currants, graphite and coffee bean. Weighty but with tremendous tension and energy. Drinking window: 2024 - 2045. Johnathan Cristaldi. June 2022.

94 100Robert Parker's Wine AdvocateWhile the quality of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Georges de Latour is indeed excellent, what may be even more impressive is that there are more than 12,000 cases of the stuff. Marked by scents of cherries, dusty earth, dried herbs and hints of cedar, it's full-bodied, silky and complex, with a lingering finish. It doesn't require much cellaring, but it should drink well for close to two decades. Nicely done. Drinking window: 2024 - 2040. Joe Czerwinski. September 2022. Beaulieu Vineyard is often overlooked in the stable of wineries owned by Treasury, but the company has roughly 1,100 acres devoted to the brand. One of Napa's grand old wineries, it's now helmed by General Manager/Senior Winemaker Trevor Durling. Together, we tasted through the latest reds to come out under the classic BV label.

Magnificent dark red with almost black highlights.
Aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry, enveloped in pronounced notes of spice.
A generous wine with a beautiful tannic structure, its complexity offers an excellent ageing potential and reveals a long finish with hints of dark chocolate.
Dried meat platter, game terrine, beef pâté, barbecue, T-bone steak, Café de Paris rib steak, Châteaubriand, venison stew, saddle of venison, semi-hard cheeses, dark chocolate fondant.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18 ° C
Carefully hand-picked harvest from the finest grapes in our vineyards planted by Georges de Latour in the early 1900s, these vineyards are located on the western slope of the Rutherford AVA. We focused on clonal selections 6, 4, 169, 7 and 8, which produce small berries with a high skin-to-juice ratio, necessary for producing intense, long-aging wines.
These vines are deeply rooted in the well-drained alluvial soils of Rutherford, considered one of the best regions in Napa Valley for Cabernet Sauvignon.
Partially fermented in new French oak barrels to achieve early integration and a dense, rich texture. The remainder was fermented in stainless steel and concrete vats to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Long vatting, slow pressing. Malolactic fermentation and ageing for 21 months in French oak barrels (95% new wood).
