Bodegas Chaves, Castel de Fornos Albariño
White wine | Rías Baixas DO
The flagship of the Chaves family!
Albariño is a grape variety that immediately seduces, and here is a superb example, with its intense aromas of white flowers, pear, apple and citrus. Lively and silky at the same time, it is a refreshing, expressive, very pure white wine. It bears the name of the Chaves family's first vineyard, the second winery registered in the Rias Baixas appellation that she helped create!

Bright, lemon color with a green undertone.
Intense aromas of white flowers (gardenias, orange blossom), pome fruits (pear, apple) and citrus fruits (lemon).
With a soft and silky texture, it presents aromas of varied fruits (citrus and pome fruit), with notes of white flowers and minerals.
The refreshing acidity is well balanced by the fruity core, with a delicate and lingering finish.
The vineyards are located in a privileged location between the municipalities of Cambados, Ribadumia and Meis in the province of Pontevedra, at a very low altitude above sea level, on granite soil. These geographical characteristics give their wines a complex and mineral structure with an extraordinary aromatic range.
