Asua Reserva
Red wine | DOCa Rioja
This cuvée has a nose of great aromatic complexity, with wild berries, liquorice, but also roasted coffee, cigar and cocoa. On the palate, it is both structured and silky, with good persistence. The red wines from the Haro terroir have been described as “fine wines” for over a century, thanks to their typicality, elegance and remarkable ageing potential.

Intense dark garnet-red colour.
Interesting aromatic complexity where aromas intermingle, like those of forest fruits and licorice with those of barrel ageing, roasted coffee, cigar leaves and cocoa.
On the palate, it's structured and smooth, with a lingering persistence. Complex aromas show us the personality of a great wine.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
The grapes come exclusively from Haro, the capital of Rioja Alta, with a vineyard with limestone and clay soils, rich in iron.
The harvest is manual and the alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete vats and small wooden vats, using wild yeasts. Different extraction techniques are used during fermentation, firstly pumping over with oxygen to encourage yeast multiplication, then delestages and punching down until the required extraction of color, tannins and of the structure is reached. The wine is then racked into French oak barrels for aging.
