Archimedes, Cabernet Sauvignon
Red wine | Alexander Valley
A vintage in homage to the uncle and the mathematician!
This red wine is very intense, with aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant and blackberry, sprinkled with cloves, star anise and toast. Its velvety texture is framed by fine tannins. It's daring wine, made in the image of Archimedes, one of the greatest mathematicians of all time, who is said to have defeated the Roman army by creating enormous mirrors to ignite the sails of enemy ships. An event reproduced on the label. Out of admiration for this great innovator, Francis Ford Coppola's grandfather actually named his first son Archimedes!
