Located in the Himalayan Mountains, in the Mekong region, the vineyard benefits from a unique climate with high temperature amplitudes and optimal exposure. The soils are diverse, including schists, granites and alluvial deposits.
Fermentation at 2600m altitude, with precise aromatic extraction. Aged for 12 months in barrels (30% new) and 40% in stone jars, followed by 8 months in stainless steel vats to preserve the purity of the terroir.

Ao Yun Estate is located in the Himalayan Mountains near the Mekong Valley in northern Yunnan, China. Founded with the ambition of creating a Chinese Grand Cru, Ao Yun takes its name from the “quest for clouds”. The estate cultivates 27 hectares of vineyards divided into 727 sub-plots, spread across four villages at altitudes ranging from 2100 to 2600 meters. Using entirely manual and environmentally friendly farming practices, Ao Yun produces wines of great purity, finesse and complexity, reflecting the unique expression of the Himalayan terroirs.
