Amphitryon, Riesling
White wine | Domaine du Mont d’Or, Valais AOC
This Riesling - rare in the old country - is typical, intense, with great vivacity, well covered in an expressive, elegant style, sustained by a lingering finish of white peach and melon. A cuvée that lives up to its name: an amphitheatre is a generous host... and this white wine is the perfect accompaniment to many dishes. It will sublimate seafood, but also spicy Asian dishes, sauerkraut or soft cheeses.

Domaine du Mont d’Or
Mont d'Or is the oldest wine estate in Valais. He is also known for having introduced Sylvaner to Switzerland, renamed Johannisberg and becoming his favorite grape variety. The certified organic terraced vines are located south of the Montorge nature reserve, near Sion. Since the creation of the estate in the 19th century, its wines have regularly been praised by critics.
