Aigle Pourpre Monseigneur
Red wine | Aigle, Chablais AOC
A Châtelain vintage within everyone’s reach!
The “Pourpre Monseigneur” vintage offers aromas of wild berries and undergrowth. On the palate it displays a supple texture, with velvety tannins, and clean, very elegant flavors. Impossible to go wrong, this red wine is very typical of the great Pinot Noir grape variety! At the foot of Château d'Aigle, the founder of the House Henri Badoux was one of the first to try growing a red grape variety in Chablais in the 1950s. With great success!

Aigle: Surrounded by mountains, the Aigle vineyard comes from glacial moraines. The terraced vineyard walls are unique ecosystems for various protected species. The heat stored during the day allows the vines to enjoy a unique microclimate.

Henri Badoux
It was in 1908 that Henri Badoux founded Maison Henri Badoux in Aigle. Its creator and his successors will continue to increase the wine heritage.
Over the decades, the men of Maison Henri Badoux have tamed these terroirs and have been able to adapt to the vagaries of the climate, to bring out with tenacity and know-how, the best of these precious grape varieties.
From this pioneering spirit, passion and conviction were born emblematic wines such as the cult brand Aigle les Murailles.
