Château de Camensac

Château de Camensac, owned by the Merlaut family since 2005, is located within the perimeter of the Grands Crus Classés du Médoc, on the borders of Saint-Julien. The Château takes its name from the dialect, where Camensac means “on the path to water” from camens: path and ac: water. The Cabernet Sauvignon being reconquered in Camensac draws from these deep gravels, fruit, race and minerality. The old Merlots temper this dynamism with their generosity, their volume.
