Henri de Villamont, Nuits-Saint-Georges
Red wine | Nuits-Saint-Georges AC
A nighttime magic in your glass!
Nuits-Saint-Georges is an appellation of the Côte de Nuits known for its dark and powerful wines. This Pinot Noir opens with subtle aromas of black fruits, dried flowers and tobacco, while the palate is full and tannic. The Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation turns out to be tender after a few years of aging... but if you can't resist and open it now, give it a good Decanterer!

A line twists and turns over the hills of the Côte de Nuits, serving as a perch for the great wines. This line follows the marl outcrop below the hard limestone. But the quality becomes extraordinary where the soil has silty scree above the marl.
Alcoholic fermentation for 5 to 10 days at controlled temperature with regular pumping over, malolactic fermentation, aging in oak barrels.
