Château de Barbe Blanche
Red wine | Lussac-Saint-Émilion AC
A beard always well-groomed!
This red wine from Château de Barbe Blanche reveals heady aromas of morello cherry, blackberry and blueberry, enveloped with toasted notes. Merlot dominates the blend, ensuring a beautifully voluminous, supple and round palate with well-integrated tannins. The good news is that the Lussac-Saint-Émilion appellation is not so well known; it is one of the ‘satellites’ that still hide such treasures!

Very pleasant with spicy notes, black fruits (griotte, blackberry), mixed with a supple toasted note.
Lively first impression, full-bodied, bold and long. Beautiful balance and great complexity. A distinguished and elegant wine.
Grilled meat (marinated lamb skewers, duck breast with figs, roasted beef in a salty crust), game dishes (hare stew, venison cutlets with pepper).
Serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C
